“Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?”
Luke 17:18
Jesus made this comment after healing 10 lepers, and only one, a Samaritan, returned to thank him. I know I don’t stop to praise God enough for the blessings he’s given me, and so I thought, this Easter Weekend I would jot down a few praises. God is great and God is good. Let’s praise him!
1. I praise God for giving me three wonderful children and a great husband. Although I am not the perfect mom or wife, I praise God for their patience and the fun we can all have together. I also praise him that each of my children so far have a desire to know God.
2. I praise God for the opportunity to work with my husband in ministry. Ever since sixth grade I have known that I would be in ministry somewhere and somehow, but I praise God that he gave me a husband with whom I can serve.
3. I praise God for the WOBC family. My love for you all continues to grow. Honestly, I get such an excited feeling working with all of you. I can feel the joy and love that you all have for each other as we work, serve, and worship together. I praise God for bringing us here and allowing us to be a part of his working.
4. I praise God for our warm, fairly leak-proof home (we think our roof is leaking – but I’m glad we have a roof!). I praise him that our cars work. I praise him that the plumbing works most of the time (again, a few problems we’re trying to figure out, but we can usually flush and take showers with no problems!). I praise God for hot water, shampoo and soap (I love showers). I praise God for electricity and washers and dryers.
5. I praise God for food and for taste buds. I especially praise him for dark chocolate, but I also thoroughly enjoy meat and fruit. I praise God for the complexity of our bodies, but yet how it all seems to pretty much work correctly.
6. I praise God for books and minds. I praise him that I still enjoy school (although I must admit, I do get extremely tired and overwhelmed at times!). I praise him that another term is completed! Two done! I praise him for the amazing men and women who lived their lives “sold out” to God that we can read about in history. I praise him for the Bible that we can read and catch a glimpse of who God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are as well as what heaven will be like.
7. I praise God for him wanting a relationship with me, and for sending his Son to die. I praise him for allowing the Holy Spirit to live in me and strengthen me. I praise Jesus for being completely human and so he understands me. I praise him for being completely divine so he can do something about me.
Well, those are just a few things that I praise God for. How about you? Have you taken the time lately to praise God for the big and little things of your life?

Yes, I praise the Lord for everything I have. I am so blessed that He loves me unconditionally and He takes care of me 24/7. WOW. I love Him!
